Event Name: Ideathon
Event Type: Hackathon / Ideathon
Event Timings: 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM
Event Description: Ideathons are intensive brainstorming events where individuals from different backgrounds, skills and interests converge to diagnose predefined problems, identify the best opportunities and ideate the most viable solution. An ideathon may require just ideas, a solution, a roadmap or an actionable plan.
Event Rules:
  • It is an individual / team (max.3) participation.
  • The given task should be completed within a given time and extra time will not be provided to anyone.
  • Judging will be based on time of completion.
  • No claims will be entertained against the announced result.

Event Prize:
  • The winner will receive a prize of Rs. 3000, while the runner will receive a prize of Rs.2000.
  • All the candidates will be given participation certificates.

Event Name: CAD Quest
Event Type: Technical Event
Event Timings: 11:00 AM - 01:00 PM
Event Description: CAD QUEST is a technical event, which tests your design and drafting skills about the making of Plan, elevation and sectional view of building.
Event Rules:
  1. In Each team only two members allowed to participate.
  2. This event having two rounds (preliminary & main round)
  3. Event coordinators decision is final
Event Venue: Environmental Lab
Event Rounds: Preliminary Round : AutoCAD commands – Team Event: The questions will be asking from the basic commands and standard data measurements in AutoCAD.
Main Round : CAD Modeling - Team event: The plan (or) Elevation (or) sectional view of a building will be given to the selected teams from the preliminary round. The team must finish the drawing with completed details within 1 hour.

Event Description: General quiz – Team event: a set of general questions will be asked to the participants and the best four teams will be qualify to next round.
Think it out - Team event: This is the final round. A set of questions and problems will be asked to the teams and the teams must answer all the questions with in the time limit.

Event Name: Code cracking

Event Description: CODE CRACKING is a technical event, which tests your core knowledge by asking questions in various IS code books related to our civil field.
Event Rules:
  1. In Each team only two members allowed to participate.
  2. This event having two rounds (preliminary & main round)
  3. Event coordinators decision is final

Event Rounds: Preliminary Round : Technical word hunt – Team Event: Missing letters in a word will be given along with clues.
Main Round : Code cracking - Team event: A set of IS code books (IS-456, IS-800, IS 1893 and IS-10262) will be provided to shortlisted teams and relative questions will be asked. Teams must find out the answers using the code books within the time limit.

Event Name: Workshop on Tekla Structures
Event Type: Workshop
Event Timings: 11:00 AM - 01:00 PM
Event Description: This Workshop on Tekla Structures is a dedicated BIM software designed specifically for structural engineers, contractors, and steel detailers. It was developed by Trimble, a technology company known for its innovations in the construction industry. Tekla Structures is used in the construction industry for steel and concrete detailing, precast and cast in-situ. The software enables users to create and manage 3D structural models in concrete or steel, and guides them through the process from concept to fabrication. The process of shop drawing creation is automated.

Event Description; This workshop on “THE POWER OF VAASTU – CREATING THE ENERGY OF PROSPERITY” provides a perfect blueprint to your holistic living. It enables to understand basic concepts of “VASTU” and exceptional tips are given to enhance benefits from your existing home. Vaastu is the most practical and scientific study of directions and its elements, which aim at creating equilibrium by balancing the different elements of nature and using them for our benefit. There is a great importance of Vaastu in our life, as through Vaastu we can attract health, wealth and prosperity in our life. It makes our house a ‘home’.
